Agreement to these terms

By using edibok.com, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What Edibok is

Edibok is an independently curated directory of apps for K-12 educators, along with comparison tools, ready-to-use lesson plans, and related resources. It's informational — we're not a school, a vendor, or a reseller of any app listed here.

Editorial independence

Placement on Edibok is never sold. Apps are chosen by hand by a practicing educator, and nothing appears here because its maker paid for it or asked. No outbound link on this site currently earns a commission. If we ever add affiliate links, they will be labeled where they appear, and commission will never affect whether an app is listed or where it sits on the page.

Accounts

Creating an account unlocks the full text of Ready-to-use Lessons. You agree to provide an accurate email address, to keep your password confidential, and to use one account per person. You're responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms.

Submitting an app

Anyone can suggest an app for consideration through the "Submit an app" form. Submitting doesn't guarantee inclusion. We retain full editorial discretion over what's listed and how it's described.

Acceptable use

Please don't scrape, republish, or resell the Edibok index wholesale; attempt to circumvent account security; or use the site in a way that disrupts it for other educators.

No warranty

Edibok is provided "as is." App descriptions reflect our own judgment at the time they were written — apps change their features, pricing, and privacy practices over time, so always verify current details directly with the vendor, and confirm any tool against your district's approved-software list and student data privacy agreement before classroom use. We don't guarantee the site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Edibok and its operator aren't liable for damages arising from your use of the site or of any third-party app it links to or describes.

Trademarks

App names, logos, and trademarks referenced on Edibok belong to their respective owners. Icons and names are shown only to identify the products being described, which is how a directory works. Being listed doesn't imply affiliation with or endorsement by the app's maker unless we say so explicitly, and no maker has paid for or approved their listing. If you own a product listed here and would prefer your icon not be shown, email us and we'll remove it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Edibok after an update means you accept the revised terms.
